Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a new Behaviour Support Assistant.
The Behaviour Support Assistant is part of a team of school staff who work together to ensure that all pupils engage successfully with their learning so that they can achieve their full potential. The Behaviour Support Assistant works at the direction of the Assistant Vice Principal for Behaviour and Safeguarding of Drapers’ Academy.
This is a new role at the academy and will be key to our strategic priority of developing a school culture which promotes a climate of respect for self, others and learning around the academy’s core values. The role will involve working both autonomously and alongside the Pastoral Team to identify the pupils in need of support to fully access their learning.
The main responsibilities include supporting staff through our ‘oncall’ system, overseeing the day to day running of our In School Behaviour support room, analysing data on key cohorts and supporting pupils to access learning.
Working pattern: 36 hours per week. Term time plus 1 week totalling 39 weeks.
