**Objective of the Position**

Our Laundry Supervisor will be committed to providing high quality servicing and housekeeping that maintains our reputation as the go to place for premium staycation. The role is responsible for the linen store, packing linen and towels and additional bedding prior to a guest stay. The Housekeeper works closely with Guest Services and needs to check a property is set up and ready for the guest based on the change over plan. The Laundry Supervisor will assist Housekeeping support on photoshoot’s to clean and prepare areas before the photoshoot and occasional Housekeeping required.

External Relationships: Linen Suppliers, Laundry, Cleaning suppliers, Guests

**Hours**

Part-time 15 hours per week Monday - Sunday (Time to be flexible based around check ins and house preparation)

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and work closely with Guest Services to prepare a property for guest stays based on their requirements, in a timely manner.

2. Direct control of the storeroom and stock. The storeroom is to be kept organised at all times, with clear labelling to increase efficiency. Stock levels to be reported and recorded daily.

3. Packing and preparing all linen, towels, high chairs, travel cots etc per booking following the change over plan from Guest Services, clearly label all linen bags and deliver to properties on time.

4. Bed linen preparation, layout bed linen per room for cleaners to make the beds, following the change over plan.

5. Deliver linen and equipment to each property in time for Housekeeping to start clean.

6. Collect dirty linen and linen count recorded for statements and laundry hire.

7. Weekly deliveries and collection of linen hire, sort and record linen count.

8. Record and take photos of damaged stock for linen hire credit.

9. Ensure the cleaning teams have all the items they need for the day’s work; replacement linen to be provided as and when required and dropped off at property.

10. Housekeeping as and when required across all properties, when cleaning teams need help or absent leaving the property looking perfect in all areas ready for guest arrivals. This includes conscious management of our Covid standards.

11. Quality control of stock, any stains and damages to not be packed and laundered. Damaged stock to go to charity. Replenish stock when damaged. The linen store needs to be organised and controlled so we know what stock we have and what is needed. Clear communication to management is needed to order in stock in a timely manner rather than being critical.

12. Unpack all towels, personal linen, tea towels, oven gloves on the storage shelving.

13. Personal owner linen to be delivered and stored at owner property and locked away and personal owner labelled clearly and charged for laundry. Communicate and send invoice receipt for cleaning.

14. Create, update property stock lists on each property visit, take a photo and add to HK Whatsapp group. Communicate and buy stock needed for welcome pack and stock and deliver to property. Stock levels should have at least 3 x stock of dried food goods i.e tea bags, coffee etc.

15. Ensuring a high attention to detail when cleaning, setting example to others and supervising others in a positive and motivating way to get the best out of the team.

16. Travelling to multiple sites (within the Poole area) to collect/ drop linen as required.

17. Join the rota for on call for guest liaison, should you be required.

18. Ensure brand standards and perfectionism when dressing the property for guest arrivals.

19. We will involve you in the launch of a new property and will require you to assist on photo shoot days as required. Items such as deep cleans and stock arrangements.

20. Assist Guest Services as and when needed for extra tasks.

21. Help and assist with Housekeeping as and when required at The Corporate Housing Partnership, Southampton and StarHost Residences, Newbury.

**Performance Criteria**

The Laundry Supervisor will be successfully fulfilling the requirements of the position when:
1. The linen is ready and delivered on time for the cleaning supplier and all linen and towels are complete for the guest arrival.

2. Quality of the staycation homes are in perfect order for guest arrivals, from linen to cleanliness to maintenance.
