**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Southport to work within an established service, supporting 2 people. The people we support here have learning disabilities and epilepsy. This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.
This service is a 2 story home, with communal areas, such as the kitchen and a large garden.
The people supported here love a variety of different things, such as: socialising in the community, eating out, swimming, live music, people watching, seeing family, arts & crafts, watching tv and also cooking.
They would describe themselves as lively, bubbly, sociable, happy and with infectious laughs and smiles
The ideal support workers for this service would be patient, happy, creative, sociable and have great communication skills.
Shift patterns in this service look like - 8am-10pm (1:1) support), 10am - 5pm (2:2 support) and 1 sleep over shift which is 11pm - 8am.
