- You will be able to provide professional leadership and management of the babyroom and its team.
- Support the manager and deputy manager with the running of the nursery.
- You will be comfortable being responsible for keeping clear and accurate records and specifically writing clear objective observations
- You have excellent planning, organisation, IT and presentation skills
- You are a strong communicator and are able to motivate, manage and work productively with your team
- You are able to identify training needs and develop training plans for your team
- You will be comfortable recruiting, inducting, supporting, training and conducting appraisals for your team
- You are able to work with parents, outside agencies, manage running costs, facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise staff.
- Assign staff tasks.
- Handle food preparation.
- Answer questions about the nurseries policies.
- Ensure that break times are enjoyed by children and staff.
- Accompany children in outings.
- Follow regulations and policies about food handling, health, and safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Childcare qualification (preferred)
