Supervisor - Depollution

**Role Profile - Depollution Supervisor**

**Purpose**

Reporting directly to the Yard Manager this role is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Depollution Team.

The purpose of the role is to contribute to the success of the site by supervising the Vehicle Depollution Team in removing all fluids, fuel, oils, brake fluid, coolant and contaminates i.e., add blu, also assisting the Yard Manager in the management of the depollution team. This role will also take a hands-on approach undertaking any depollution duties as required for holiday cover or absence.

**Reporting to: Yard Manager**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support the Yard Manager with all regular team and people management related requirements including but not limited to Time Management, Quality of Work, Sickness Absence, Holiday Requests etc.
- Induction training and continuing development of new starters
- Mentoring the Depollution team to ensure that all targets are achieved, and work is carried out efficiently.
- Carrying out all relevant quality checks to ensure that correct procedures are followed, and relevant legislation is met
- Check and sign off completed vehicles
- Key point of contact between other departments and Depollution
- Ensuring machinery and equipment is safe and maintained in working order, working with the Maintenance Engineer to carry out preventative maintenance.
- Maintaining good housekeeping practices ensuring Depollution and individual workstation areas are always clean and tidy
- Coordination of weekly Depollution wash down and clean ups
- Ensuring that depolluters use all issued PPE appropriately and at all times.

**Experience & Essential Qualities**
- Previous experience as a supervisor or team leader
- Basic vehicle knowledge

**Remuneration**

**Salary**: £30,000

Working Hours: 47.5hrs per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm
