We are looking for someone to join our Team in the Admin Department who can be sensitive and empathetic in all situations, having the ability to work under pressure and have a flexible approach. You will be greeting our patients face to face and on the telephone so you must enjoy working with the public.

We are a large multi-disciplinary Team of over 50 staff members and we pride ourselves on the support that we offer to each other.

You should be a friendly person with strong communication skills to join our supportive Team here at Crouch Oak Family Practice. If you want to contribute to the care of our patient population and utilise your multitasking capabilities, we would love to hear from you. Please note you must have a high degree of mental resilience in order to work in this position.

Below is a summary of the duties for the position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To undertake reception duties which includes booking appointments and home visits for patients, dealing with enquiries/providing appropriate information, accepting payment for services and issuing receipts
- To provide consistent and high quality administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the Practice
- To liaise effectively with all members of the internal team, service users and external agencies
- To deal with and maintain records related to requests made by external agencies for information relating to patients such as Insurance reports, Solicitors reports and other form
- To screen enquiries for the doctors and clinical staff
- To ensure patient records are filed accurately and filing systems are maintained
- To maintain accurate documentation utilising the Practice IT systems
- To participate in Practice Administration meetings as required
- To attend all training relevant to the role
- To ensure continuation of own personal and professional development
- To cover colleagues during times of annual leave/sickness as appropriate
- To maintain a clean reception and waiting area to show a professional image
- You will participate in training to undertake administration and IT processes related to patient registration, prescriptions, patient recall and test results, data inputting/scanning, summarising of clinical records and processing incoming and outgoing mail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
