Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk
Hours: 19.7 hours per week

**Salary**: £20- £25 per hour
Start date: March 2023
**Your role as Teacher of Business and IT**As a Teacher of Business and IT, you will be expected to deliver outstanding and innovative teaching and learning to a wide range of students across the college provision, supporting students to achieve excellence and reach their full potential. Some of yourother responsibilities will include:

- Preparing schemes of work, lesson, and assessment plans.
- Tracking and monitoring student progress against targets, complete progress reviews, and take appropriate actions, reporting to parents/carers/employers as required.
- Providing high quality advice and guidance on study programmes, careers, and HE.
- Completing internal and external quality assurance processes.
- Managing and develop online course content via the college VLE and other approved channels.
- Being responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
**What you will need to succeed for this Teacher of Business and IT role** QTS or minimum level 5 teaching qualification
- Relevant degree
- Relevant Masters qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience of teaching
- Subject knowledge and understanding of the relevant curriculum and BTEC quality assurance processes
