**Purpose**
- Assume responsibility for the accurate and timely submission of reports to funding bodies and external organisations.
- Ensure the MIS function complies with both internal and external requirements, including internal audit schedules, through comprehensive documentation and adherence to MIS policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the company's management information and data recording systems to facilitate efficient reporting and returns.
- Prepare timely funding reports and provide insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure all areas of the organization have access to accurate, timely reporting for informed decision-making.
- Guarantee the punctual and precise submission of data to external funding agencies concerning Apprenticeship, Adult Education Budget.
- Continuously enhance compliance measures to meet the requirements of funding agencies in terms of learner data.
- Utilise data validation and audit tools from ESFA to ensure data submissions meet quality and audit thresholds.
- Prepare Self Assessment Data reports as part of the company's SAR and QIP.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service for Finance and Performance functions, internally and externally.
- Manage the operations of the Funding and Performance Department.
- Provide insights from a funding and data interpretation perspective for strategic decisions and strategy formulation.
- Inform about the data and funding implications of business decisions.
- Ensure coordination and support of processes with robust internal procedures and policies, including Governance and Risk Management.
- Offer advice and guidance to departments to optimize their allocation management.
- Provide support by collaborating with departments and the management team to aid financial decision-making.
- Prepare costings, estimates, funding and financial calculations as needed.
- Monitor and assess all funding and data information systems, recommending necessary improvements and implementing changes.
- Participate in staff development activities as appropriate.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the post.
- Contribute to promoting and implementing Equality and Diversity Policies.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining effective systems for communication and consultation with students.
- Ensure performance targets are met.

**Qualifications and Competencies**
- Extensive familiarity and expertise in funding regulations and associated reporting (E)
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing data and information systems with a successful track record (E)
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet crucial deadlines (E)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Learner Management Systems (E)
- Familiarity with the Bud e-portfolio system (D)
- Proficiency in generating reports using Microsoft Power Bi (D)

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Baginton, Warwickshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
