Legal Cashier

Reed are pleased to be supporting a prosperous solicitors firm who are looking for a legal Cashier to join the team on a permanent basis.

**What is the day-to-day of the role**:

- Processing of client and office accounting transactions including postings and cheque production
- The processing of client bills to include checking and posting
- Processing automatic and manual payment runs by BACS/TT and cheque
- Carrying out month and year end procedures
- Preparing monthly management accounts and liaising with accountants in relation to year end accounts and tax returns
- VAT administration and returns
- Administration and reconciliation of petty cash
- Monthly and yearly Financial Reporting
- Administrating Payroll

**Requires Skills and Qualifications**
- Must have experience working in the field
- Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts rules
- GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent
