**Compliance Executive**

I have an exciting new opening for a passionate and talented individual to fulfill the role of Compliance Executive within the financial solutions sector for my incredibly successful award-winning client based in a prime location in Manchester city.

As a Compliance Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding industry standards within our esteemed team in Manchester.

**A typical day**:

- Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with FCA regulations.
- Conducting compliance reviews, assessments, and presenting recommendations to senior management.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and disseminating updates to internal teams effectively.
- Reviewing and approving marketing materials and financial promotions within consumer financial services.
- Balancing compliance requirements with innovative approaches to marketing copy and designs.
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing compliance workflows to ensure efficiency and regulatory adherence.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, fostering new ways of working while maintaining thorough documentation and audit trails.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and effectively managing senior stakeholders.
- Maintaining meticulous attention to detail and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Drafting, updating, and reviewing compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements.

**Success in this role requires**:

- 1-2 years' experience in risk and compliance within an FCA regulated environment.
- Proficiency in FCA regulations (CONC, MCOBS, ICOBS, CASS, SYSC, PERG, SUP), data protection/GDPR/PECR.
- Experience writing and implementing policies and procedures in line with FCA regulations.
- Subject matter expertise in FCA regulation (3+ years).
- Ability to conduct research, write articles on compliance issues, and communicate findings internally.
- Experience reviewing and approving marketing materials and financial promotions for an FCA regulated business.
- A proactive attitude towards compliance, offering guidance on regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
