Our Planning and Environmental Department is a small group of professionals working with the Board of Directors to manage regulatory compliance of our existing property portfolio and expand the resource base of the company through identification of new mineral prospects and securing regulatory consent.

The Geologist is tasked with liaising with our quarry managers, health and safety team, operations, statutory bodies and landowners, to maximisepermitted reserves and secure mineral resources for the future.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, investigate, and evaluate mineral resources (bulk construction materials).
- Desktop analysis of available datasets to identify sites of potential.
- Supervising intrusive investigation activities such as drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testing, liaising with subcontractors
- Processing field and laboratory results
- Define individual exploration programmes
- Engage in geophysical surveys and liaise with geophysical contractors
- Geological core logging and sampling
- Topographical GPS and UAV surveying
- Digital terrain modelling and CAD drafting
- Reserve assessment and report presentation
- Advise on the geological aspects of the planning consent process
- Other administration duties as required

**Skills Required**:

- Previous Irish ground investigation site experience is essential
- Professional member of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland is preferrable
