JOB: GLAZIER

LOCATION: LANCASHIRE

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, shape, and install various types of glass, including windows, doors, skylights, mirrors, and glass partitions
- Determine glass specifications based on client requirements and ensure accurate measurements
- Prepare surfaces and remove any old or broken glass prior to installation
- Install glass using various techniques, such as glazing, sealing, and securing with putty, screws, or adhesives
- Use appropriate tools, equipment, and safety measures to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Repair glass by replacing broken or damaged parts
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering queries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Glazier or related role
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and shaping glass accurately
- Strong knowledge of glazing techniques and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of precision
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and find solutions
- Strong physical stamina to lift and manipulate heavy glass sheets or objects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Salary**: From £18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
