**We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team at Will Powder Ltd based at Holmes Mill, Clitheroe.**

**The purpose of the apprenticeship will be to gain accounting experience, whilst supporting the growing finance team and cross business collaboration on a daily basis.**

**The purpose of the apprenticeship will be to gain accounting experience, whilst supporting the growing finance team and cross business collaboration on a daily basis.**

You will work towards Level 2 AAT alongside your role and gain experience alongside.
- Processing invoices for payment authorisation

- Sound organisational skills
- Using Xero business acccounting software
- Set up new supplier accounts
- Linking online sales to company accounting software
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Prepare creditor payment reports
- Cash book postings, updating cashflow forecasts
- Support mentor with projects across the accounting function
- Maintaining and updating ledgers.
- Support other departments to gain additional business experience and knowledge

**Qualifications Required**
- GCSE - Grade 4 (predicted or actual) or above including Maths and English
- Accounting/ Business Studies A Levels (desirable not essential)
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).
