Insurance Broker

We are highly skilled and hold expertise in assessing business risk and exposure. We deliver a broad range of commercial insurance products. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker / Account Handler to join our team and help with driving the business forward.

**Job description**

**Your tasks will be**:
Prepare renewals, new business, mid-term amendments and client information presentations

Negotiate premiums and terms with insurers

Respond to client queries and keep Acturis system up to date at all times with accurate information.

Administration of claims if and when required

**You will need to have**:
At least two years’ experience as an account handler / insurance broker with strong communication and negotiation skills. Attitude is key.

Salary for this role is negotiable but starts at £30,000 and rises depending on experience and skills.

You will have a broad product knowledge range with good existing relationships with insurers.

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent

Worked within a brokerage for at least two years dealing with a range of commercial insurance products.

Risk aware in handling customer information

Good customer service focus, the ability to build a good rapport and maintain ongoing client/insurer relationships

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Takes initiative when assisting team members

Strong negotiation skills
