CONTENT EDITOR

**Key requirements**

To continuously monitor and respond to what the market and industry wants/needs and deliver content in multiple formats across different platforms that the market wants/needs. To collaborate with colleagues to maximise the revenue and profit to the business.

**Key responsibilities**

You are responsible for all content published across all platforms in your area of specialisation. This requires a multimedia approach with data-led mindset, and intimate understanding of the aquarium hobby and industry.

To create, commission and edit content in your area of specialisation to a publication-ready state to the standards expected by your audience on that particular platform, which could be all or any of the following
- Video and livestream
- Photography
- Print (magazines, supplements, annuals, one-offs, etc)
- Digital magazines, including supplements, annuals, one-offs, etc
- Social media
- Website
- Newsletters
- Seminars
- Webinars
- Podcasts
- Future platforms as yet unknown

To meet the KPIs agreed with your manager.

To use analytical tools (Google, Dotdigital, YouTube Analytics, sales data, etc), in-house reports, and communication with hobbyists and industry leaders to make data-led decisions.

To identify your own skill gaps and identify a pathway to close any gaps.
