**About the role (External)**:
**Key Accountabilities**
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve asset performance, reliability, productivity and efficiency.
- Identify problem locations and/or processes within the routes and delivery units, develop and implement action plans to resolve such issues in coordination with the delivery units.
- Support the delivery units in the effective implementation of improvement programme, projects and initiatives.
- Support and implement six sigma processes and techniques to routes and delivery units
- Prepare business cases for improvement initiatives that are supported by robust analysis.
- Produce and implement plans for improvement initiatives that include training, briefing and support documentation.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
- Identify and share areas of best practice within the delivery units to improve business performance in a consistent manner.

**Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications**

Essential
- Experience in maintenance management, processes and techniques
- Knowledge of safety and compliance management processes
- Detailed knowledge of an engineering discipline
- Detailed knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
- Knowledge of operational railway environment
- IRSE Licence holder (Signalling only)
- Local Accident & Incident Investigation
- Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills

Desirable
- Incorporated Engineer
- Membership of professional body

**Salary**: £44,690 - £50,276 + £3,270 Inner London Allowance**Location**: Three Bridges

**Term**: Permanent

**Remote working opportunity** This role requires working in the office 3 days a week
