**Role requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work all day long.
- Full driving licence (clean is preferred) and own transport.
- Located within a 30-minute drive from Nottingham town centre.
- CSCS card (must be obtained before joining).
- IPAF and PASMA tickets (preferred).
- You must be confident, hardworking and flexible.
- You must be responsible for yourself, others who work with you and for maintaining company vehicles and equipment making sure it is cleaned and packed away properly after each use.
- You will be required to complete weekly paperwork such as stock takes of your PPE and filling out reports following each job along with photographs to report on your work.
- You will be responsible for operating various tools, machinery and equipment which you will receive full training on how to safely operate. Often you will need to fix equipment on site should anything become loose or damaged so the job can be completed.
- This job requires high attention to detail.

**Locations of work**:

- Construction sites.
- Schools and universities.
- Commercial and industrial buildings.
- In public places such as street pavements and city centres.

**Services you will be providing**:

- Pressure washing.
- Gutter cleaning.
- Window cleaning.
- Steam cleaning (usually stone and old buildings).
- Emergency jobs like cleaning spillages, floods and graffiti.
- You may work from scaffolding and cherry pickers on some jobs.

**Further information**:

- The duration of each job will vary, hours are usually 7:30 until 4pm for general day time site work but you will be expected to work on a variety of jobs, you must be fully flexible and able and willing to work at short notice and at different times of the day and variable shift lengths. Sometimes this may involve working at night and at weekends it depends what job requests are received each week.
- There will be a split between working along and sometimes within a team.
- Whilst in training you will be working in a team of 2 with the idea of getting a van once trained and being paid a higher wage once you are trained and when you can work alone.
- Day to day our work is around the midlands, usually within a 1-hour drive but the company provides services all over the UK so some days may be travelling more than others. Sometimes you may also be required to work away but this is usually for short duration only.
- This type of cleaning is heavy duty and physically demanding, it is hard work but a rewarding job. Our technicians love making a difference to the surrounding environment.
- No two days are the same at Brooklands, you will meet lots of new people on your travels and carry out lots of different types of jobs.
