We are seeking a proactive, experienced administrator to lead and co-ordinate the day to day administrative functions for a team within the Care co-ordination centre (CCC) ensuring that each contact with the team receives a solution/customer focused approach.

This role will also involve working with senior clinical staff/community consultants providing key administrative support in relation to service specific clinical pathways as well as line managing CCC administrators in association with MCH policies.

Therefore there maybe a requirement for the successful applicant to be COVID vaccinated in the future.

**The main aims of the role are**:

- Responsible for the day to day administrative service delivery within the Team.
- To provide day to day line management of a group of medical secretaries within the Hub/CCC or Hub in line with MCH’s policies
- To be the first point of contact for face to face patient enquires on site which sit outside of Reception’s remit escalating as appropriate
- To oversee that the senior clinical staff have the required equipment and paperwork to undertake their clinics. To take appropriate action to ensure this equipment is maintained to prevent equipment failure or replaced if applicable.
- Identify any potential gaps in administrative support and attempt to rectify them using alternative resources
- To understand the clinical pathways offering solutions and supporting administrative staff in addressing service user queries
- Responsible for effective administrative caseload management on a day to day basis using the Electronic Patient Record System and any other data catchment tools e.g. spreadsheets, electronic dashboards, reports
- Lead on team meetings in relation to the current waiting lists, appointments and activity levels
- Effectively manage changes within the team and promote a positive working approach
- Manage, prioritise and delegate workload to the team on a daily basis to meet the competing demands of the clinical teams and service users
- Responsible for ensuring standardised processes are followed on a daily basis
- To support Admin Manager in investigating CCC complaints and supporting the clinical leads in gathering information for clinical complaints
- To liaise with Admin Manager in relation to adhoc administrative tasks raised by Clinical Service to enable request to be scoped out by CCC correctly.
- To ensure adequate Fire Wardens (administrators) available on site to cover this role taking into account absence
- Ensure a personal understanding of wider care pathways and points of access for Health Care Professionals for designated Hub or CCC
- As/when required provide support in the Administration Hub/CCC
- Provide support and cover other Team Co-Ordinator’s during periods of annual leave / sickness.
