Milestone Infrastructure is a leading Infrastructure Services company operating in the Transport sector of M Group. Our portfolio includes contracts to operate, maintain and improve large parts of the UK road network. We have built and maintained relationships with our clients over a number of years and have a strong culture that continuously focuses on safety, operational delivery, efficiency, and customer service.

**Your duties & responsibilities will be**:

- To drive a Winter Maintenance Gritting Vehicle for the duration of the winter maintenance season, being allocated to a rota within the Suffolk area.
- To be on standby i.e. one week on standby followed by one week off throughout the winter maintenance season.
- To undertake the gritting of the roads on your allocated route and all the associated activities required to deliver the Winter Service such as wash down and vehicle defect checks.

**We are looking for**:

- A full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (category C) entitlement and a full CPC is essential.
- A valid Winter Maintenance qualification or experience. If, however, training is required, training for the City and Guilds qualification will be arranged for September/October 2023 and the above-mentioned temporary contract will be extended to cover this
- The ability to travel to a Suffolk Highways Depot
