Matron - Community Nursing Service

Support and drive the implementation and maintenance of safety, quality, clinical effectiveness and patient experience through the implementation and monitoring of key standards and outcomemeasures to deliver safe and effective harm free care. As part of the senior team, act as the expert in delivering the quality and safety agenda that is unique to nursing, implicit in this is continuous improvement and a reduction in harm. Work with clinical leaders to achieve a culture of harm free care by taking a leadership role in Sign Up For Safety and the Quality Collaborative. Utilise expert analytical and critical thinking skills to ensure that care and service improvement agendas are innovative, contemporaneous and clinically effective.
Develop and utilise monitoring tools and techniques to provide assurance against key performance indicators and care standards both within the Division and across the Trust. Analyse data andtrends to establish early recognition of areas of concern and provide action plans to rectify issues. Please see the attached job description for full information.
