**Job Title**: Senior Bookkeeper
**Location**:Dundonald, Scotland
**Hours**: 40 hours per week
**Salary Range**: £28k per annum
**Start Date**:Immediate

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing entrepreneurial business specialising in luxury golf travel and corporate golf packages has arisen. Signature Golf is seeking for a dedicated and focused Senior Bookkeeper to join our UK based team at our Dundonald, Scotland offices.

Primary responsibilities will be to create client invoices, manage supplier payments, reconciling accounts, preparing prepayments and accruals, journal entries, along with general ledger and assisting with year-end accounts. Additional roles will include management liaising with US & UK Qualified accountants along with chasing customers for overdue payments.

The position requires such dedicated and focused individual to be IT literate, with high level of basic IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; in addition to extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Key qualities include individuals that are organized, focused and efficient when provided tasks to manage.

**Experience / Qualifications must include**:

- NVQ Level 3
- Minimum of 5-years post qualified experience outside practice

**Key Accountabilities of the role**:

- Client Invoicing
- Manage Customer Receivables
- Manage Supplier Payments
- Chasing Overdue Payments
- Reconciliation of bank & credit card statements
- Assisting with preparation for end of year accounts
- Assisting with preparation of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, and Management Accounts
- Liaising with US & UK Accountant

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Accountancy Software Literate (i.e., QuickBooks)

- Professionalism & Good Verbal Communication

**Education & Experience Requirements**
- GCSE Grade C or better in English & Maths
- NVQ Level 3
- Minimum of 5-years of post-qualified experience outside practice
- Understanding of US GAAP Preferred (not required)
