Our team in Airdrie are on the lookout for friendly, open and honest individuals with great communication skills sense of humour to join them as Support Worker. We have 16 to 30 hour contracts available.

**The Role**

You'll be working with young adults supporting them in everyday social events, including going to college, bowling with friends and maybe down to their favourite discos for a dance. We're looking for people who are willing to go that extra mile, providing the best quality of life possible for our clients. Every day is different and every client has their own interests, so staff need to be flexible in their approach in supporting them. With your help we will enable the people we support to play an active role within their local communities along with support with their social and life skills.

There is never a dull moment with our team, working 1:1 you will work with only one person a day supporting them with their hobbies and studies.

**All we’ll need you to bring is;**
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
- Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity.
- Honesty, reliability and trustworthiness.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- A caring attitude and approach.
- A positive approach to learning.
- Always seek to go above and beyond what's expected.
- An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines.
- Confidence in the use of computers.

**Shift Patterns**

The people we support are young adults who live with their parents so there are no sleepovers and shifts tend to fall between the hours of 8am - 8pm. There may be activities that will include some evenings and weekends.
