**Key Responsibilities**:
**Material Requirement Planning**:

- Develop and maintain accurate materials requirement plans based on production schedules and forecasts.
- Utilise MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to determine material needs and ensure timely ordering.

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and adjust inventory parameters as necessary.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes.

**Supplier Coordination**:

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or delays that may impact production.

**Production Support**:

- Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and timelines.
- Ensure all materials are available for production to meet the production schedule.
- Address and troubleshoot any material shortages or disruptions.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Analyse material usage trends and adjust planning parameters accordingly.
- Generate reports on inventory status, material usage, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

**Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all materials comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions, purchase orders, and inventory levels.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain management desired.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems is advantageous.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
