Trainee Account Handler

We're looking for a Trainee Account Handler to join our growing and innovative team who is ambitious to learn a technical insurance role and develop a career in the insurance industry.

Full training will be provided and upon completion the initial role will involve working with our Account Handlers & Account Executives assisting in managing a portfolio across a range of industry sectors

**The Role**:

- Working alongside the Account Executive in the negotiation of renewal terms for clients, exploring alternative options before providing the best available solution
- Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure cover is bound by renewal date.
- Training towards being be the main point of day to day relationship management and administration in dealing with Insurer and client queries. Confirming cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required
- Invoicing policies
- Processing mid-term adjustments including vehicle changes
- Work to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and able to recognise potential risk and seek advice when required

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Be prepared to study towards a professional insurance qualification with the Chartered Insurance Institute
- Educated A-level or GCSE level equivalent
- GSCE Maths & English essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident when building and maintaining rapport, strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS office
- Past familiarity of the Acturis operating platform would be an advantage, again full training will be provided
- Eligible to work in the UK
