**Our client a global 1st Tier Automotive supplier, who are undergoing significant growth, are looking to recruit a Tooling Maintenance Technician.**

**Working a 3 shift pattern you will be joining an established maintenance team undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on production tools as well as undertaking improvement activities.**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on tools in production.
- Train colleagues and participate in the development of new tooling and the improvement of existing tooling.
- Carry out maintenance work on production equipment in accordance with the established schedule.
- Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with safety instructions and corrective. maintenance on production equipment
- Carry out improvement and modification work on production tools
- Suggest and carry out technical and mechanical improvements to tools to optimize their operation - Modify tools according to customer requests - Carry out modifications requested internally.
- Place orders for spare parts on the computer system - Ensure the supply of spare parts within the framework of a Preventive Maintenance Plan - Carry out the necessary adjustments and upgrade of the tools in compliance with the tolerances
- Ensure the correct operation of the tools during production and intervene as soon as necessary
- Ensure the recording of the maintenance schedule on the computer system
- Ensure the recording of interventions carried out on the tools on follow-up sheets to allow traceability
- Carry out the improvements requested on the tools in order to improve the quality of the products
- Carry out the improvements requested on the tools to allow a fast assembly on press - Propose and Carry out the technical and mechanical improvements of the tools to optimize their operation.
- Carry out the analysis and the diagnosis of the tools of its field of expertise in term of
- Launch Periodic Diagnostic Inspections and major maintenance work.

Experience
- Experienced in tooling maintenance within a similar fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Time Served or similar
- Abel to plan, organize and carry out preventive and reactive maintenance of production tools.
- Train colleagues and help to develop new tools and to improve existing tools, as a specialist in his/ her domain.
- Ability to diagnose problems for true root cause and implement effective counter-measures.
