**Behaviour Support Assistant**

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to join schools in Bristol. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education of secondary school students between Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.

**Location**:Bristol

**Contract type**:Temporary

**Salary**:£90 Per Day

**Hours**:8:30 - 16:00, Mon-Fri

**Requirements**:Having a driving license is beneficial

**Experience**:Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, experience in schools particularly PRU and APA environments, experience managing challenging behaviours

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing challenging situations and diffusing conflicts
- Supporting students with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs (SEN)
- Assisting the wider school community, both inside and outside the classroom
- Working in the behaviour support unit and supporting teachers in lessons
- Keeping students engaged and focused on tasks at hand - Building a positive rapport with students
