Role Purpose
- Drive awareness of requirements and data-driven decision-making by providing valuable insights across business to make informed decisions based on historical and real-time data
- Lever data-driven insights to build supplier cost modelling, unlock structural saving opportunities, enhance decision-making, maximize saving delivery and strengthen supplier governance.
- Support the Business and Procurement Categories to identify opportunities for improvement in their procurement processes and achieve better outcomes (cost reduction, supplier performance, risk mitigation, business transformation).
- Offer in-depth expertise and guidance in one of the key areas of Procurement: Aircraft and engines, Original Equipment Manufacturer, Engineering and Maintenance, Customer Services, Corporate, Tech and Indirect

Accountabilities
- Lead the procurement analytics stragey within its area of expertise to enable Group and Airline strategic cost targets.
- Identify and analyze market trends, patterns, and supplier performance within data, ultimately enabling the organizations to make informed decisions and enhancing procurement savings delivery
- Support Business and Procurement Categories to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for suppliers
- Generate clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to key stakeholders
- Develop models to forecast future trends or outcomes, with high focus on financial and procurement analysis (budgeting and forecast projections, make vs buy,) with clear focus on predictive and prescriptive analysis
- Stay informed about emerging trends in procurement analytics and recommend innovative solutions.
- Working closely with Airlines, IAG group, Business Units and Finance team to understand business requirements and integrate analytics insights into decision-making processes.
- Define together with the Business units and Procurement Category the negotiation strategy with critical suppliers
- Develop and implement analytics models and tools to maximize cost savings delivery as well as to strengthen supplier governance.
- Utilize data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Support the implementation of transformation projects within the Procurement team.
- Implement best practices to streamline procurement operations and reduce costs.

**Qualifications**
What you will bring to the role
- Interest the airline and wider aviation industry.
- A strong ability to analyze large sets of data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights is crucial. This includes proficiency in data analytics tools and statistical analysis
- Understanding of procurement processes and the supply chain is essential to effectively analyze data in the context of the organization's procurement activities.
- The ability to align procurement analytics with overall business strategy and goals. This involves identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic changes based on data insights.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to distil complex technical information in a clear and simple message.
- Experience of working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology.
- The capacity to approach challenges creatively and find innovative solutions through data-driven insights.
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resource.
- Language skills: Fluent English mandatory, Spanish is a plus
- Provide expert-level insights into: Aircraft and engines, Original Equipment Manufacturer, Engineering and Maintenance, Customer Services, Corporate, Tech and Indirect
- Experience working and reporting to senior levels and executives.
- A solid understanding of procurement, vendor management, supply chain processes and finance
- Willingness to travel
