**Position**: Validation Engineer

**Location of Office**: Barnsley

**Location of work**: Hybrid WFH available

**Salary**:£27,000 - £29,000

**The Role**: Our client protects lives and are known all over the world for making the best quality, best performing fire systems, they are a market leader in specialist safety, health and environmental technologies.

Working for our client as a Validation Engineer you'll be part of a small team focused on making sure their existing and new products conform with specifications, regulations and standards. You'll also play a key part in the development of validation testequipment and test procedures

This role is for a Validation Engineer to both carry out and develop tests for fire systems equipment. This role will be ideal for a Validation or Test Engineer who is looking to work in a safety critical environment. You will need to be methodical and havea keen eye for detail.

**The successful Validation Engineer can expect their role to involve**:

- Developing tests that meet product requirements and related standards in collaboration with Project Teams.
- Through your knowledge of automated testing frameworks and Python coding, support the implementation of test automation.

**Desirable skills and experience**:

- Tested products used in Safety Critical/ Hazardous environments.
- Manual testing
- Developed test plans and criteria.
