Despatch Supervisor

The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking Dispatch Supervisors for our prestigious client in the MK42 (Kempston) Area. The rate for this position is** £12.50 p/h **and the working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and then 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday

**Responsibilities of the Dispatch Supervisor**
- Prepare, assemble and complete orders from the Sheet metal workshop
- Collate, organise and prioritise customer orders to ensure highest level of accuracy
- Work with production manager to finish products to required standard
- Quality check each order and ensure products are labelled with 100% accuracy
- Carry out or supervise the final quality checks prior to dispatch
- Supervise the packing area to ensure that goods are packed efficiently.
- Labelling, packaging, and palletising of products
- Ensure that the Company dispatch schedule is up to date with dispatch information
- Complete all associated administrative tasks in line with company KPIs

**Requirements of the Dispatch Supervisor**
- Previous experience in a sheet metal/ fabrication company preferable
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Previous experience in a dispatch supervisor role desirable
- Computer literate with good spoken and written English
- Self-starter with experience of managing workload/s under time pressure
- Strong communication skills and a responsible, flexible approach to work.
- Desire to learn and develop within the role.
