**This is the job**:
Joining the AA as **Head of IT Procurement**, you will play a key role in leading the overall strategy for Technology Procurement (IT, Data, Digital) in line with the Group Procurement strategy and the Technology Transformation strategy.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Partnering with CIO, CDO, CTO and wider Technology teams, you will be responsible for IT strategy, sourcing execution, stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
- Managing a small team of IT Procurement Managers and Supplier Manager responsible for approximately 150 technology deals across Software, Services, Hardware and Telecoms.
- Minimise contractual risks to the AA whilst demonstrating year on year cost improvement.
- Effectively build a pipeline of deals.
- Support improvement in processes, policy, systems, management information and reporting.

**What do I need?**:
**Capability, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Have significant IT and Technology Procurement and Sourcing experience, with category expertise spanning Software, Hardware, Professional Services and Telecoms/Networks.
- Have a successful track record of delivery significant cost savings and broader commercial benefits throughout the deal making process.
- Have successfully managed IT Procurement spend within a well-regarded procurement function.
- Possess strong leadership and people management qualities/experience.
