**JOB SUMMARY**

To be public facing and promote the Home in a positive, friendly and polite manner. To be well organised, efficient and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**

Ø Welcomes and assists visitors in a friendly and efficient manner

Ø Opens and stamps incoming post, ensuring important correspondence is brought to the attention of the Manager

Ø Utilises relevant office equipment in order to accurately and efficiently produce all typing requirements

Please note this job is **SATURDAY and SUNDAY only**

Ø Receives all incoming telephone calls and redirects where appropriate

Ø Ensures that messages are passed on promptly whilst observing the need for confidentiality

Ø Ensures sufficient office and stationary consumables are available, placing orders with approved suppliers to replenish stocks within agreed budget

Ø Organises meetings and takes formal minutes for approval and distribution within agreed timescales

Ø Makes travel arrangements where required

Ø Plans and manages time efficiently, deals with unexpected tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved

Ø Ensures show rounds are carried out and relevant information taken

Ø To be able to support the Home Manager & Administrator as and when required

Ø Ensuring the Reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.

These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

Ø Microsoft Applications, Word, Excel, Outlook

PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS **SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
