The Marketing Lead is responsible for all elements of VIP marketing across all channels - TV, Digital, Social, PR etc. This role sits within the Marketing & Experiences Dept, which consists of three key pillars; Marketing, Experiences & Partnerships. Work closely with the Experiences & Partner team to ensure all comms form part of the overall VIP strategy
What you'll do:
- Marketing Strategy - Drive the Sky VIP strategy, alongside the Head Of, focusing on increasing customer awareness, engagement and satisfaction with the programme, based on a clear set of measurable critical metrics, rooted in customer and market insight.- Build brilliant relationships through creative & innovation - Challenge creative and partner agencies to deliver best-in-class, award-winning work for Sky VIP marketing and activation campaigns. Pushing innovation and experimentation to ensure our marketing cuts through. Work closely with our experiences team & external partners to keep giving value back to customers.- Marketing Planning and Evaluation - Lead the Marketing Managers to build & deliver our marketing plan, overseeing the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including App, TV, digital, social, merchandising. Understand campaign performance & optimise.- Partner management - Take team members on the journey to make sure everyone is pushing in the same direction best utilising the matrix organisation. Work with Commercial to build channel strategies to optimise performance against campaign objectives.- Brand Champion - activate the Sky VIP brand, bringing the vision and purpose to life for customers and internal partners, ensuring it is used correctly and to maximum benefit at all opportunities across the business.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in Customer, campaign & brand marketing, managing a large budget and management of ATL & TTL campaigns, including Media Planning, PR & Social.- Creative judgement - Strong creative eye. Ability to think from the consumers’ perspective and provide clear and articulate feedback that makes the work better. Lead briefing and delivering creative across multiple agencies.- Product marketing authority - experience of proposition positioning, development of compelling.- Restless curiosity for consumer insight and campaign performance - looking at our category insights in different ways and continuously striving to understand how campaigns performed so that we can improve.- Brilliant collaborator and strong relationship skills - able to work across a matrix organisation and foster strong relationships with agencies & partners.- Positive Energy - High Energy to drive and motivate the team as well as work across functions to get the job done.- Presentation skills - Credible and able to present and work to senior leadership team at Sky, with excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate views clearly.
