As a Trust we were excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley. In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s opened its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.

This is truly a once in a lifetime chance for someone who loves sport, loves working with children and who will have the chance to innovate and contribute to a brand-new school. With a new £25 million, 18-acre new build coming in 2024, bringing with it state-of-the-art facilities - there is no limit to what this role can offer now, and in the future. It will most certainly contribute to changing the lives of the children of Barnsley.

**What we need**:

- At least 5 or more GCSE’s including English and Maths at grade c or above (or equivalent).
- Experience of successfully working with young people in a sporting context.
- Experience of successfully organising, participating or supporting with a range of different sports.
- Strong inter-personal written, verbal and presentation skills.
