Hseq Lead

**HSEQ Lead**

**Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm (2pm finish on Fridays)**

**Salary: £30,000 per annum**

**Location: Swadlincote**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an HSEQ Lead to join a business in Swadlincote on a permanent basis. The starting salary £30,000 per annum and the working hours are Monday to Friday.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To provide coordination, advice, and support to the business on HSEQ Quality processes, systems, and best practice in line with iSO protocols and Occupational Health guidelines
- Ensure documentation is available to the business, regularly reviewed by the relevant stakeholders, completed correctly, accurate records are maintained, and training is provided
- Collating, producing, and monitoring monthly statistical data providing recommendations for improvements, changes, and areas of potential risk
- Conduct regular HSEQ audits and advise on areas for improvement and gaps in management process and procedures
- Communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the business
- Provide help to management, including hiring and training
- Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members

**Experience and Skills**:

- Attention to detail, with a methodical and considered approach. Able to manage workload and contribute proactively
- Proven organisation and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, confident with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly adaptable and flexible, as the job is wide ranging
- Able to produce and update written policies, templates, procedures and guidance
- Level 1 qualifications in Health & Safety NEBOSH
- 3 years min experience in a similar position

**Aspects of the role include**:
Guide and educate staff on the importance and requirements of Health & Safety within the wider business remit
