Port Logistics

Due to expanding business needs and continued growth, Ferguson Transport & Shipping are currently recruiting for a Port Logistics & Project Coordinator, based at Kishorn Port. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing logistics operations and projects within the port. This is a full time permanent role, working a flexible shift pattern of 10 days on / 4 days off. Duties will include:

- Ensuring effective management of the port with regards to projects and daily operations
- Liaison with clients and customers of the port, ensure effective management of vessels in the port and dry dock, maintaining communication and safe port operations at all times
- Managing berth and project area allocation, providing regular updates of port activities
- Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times within the port
- Administrative duties, including daily record sheets, site instructions and client costings

Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and have excellent organisational and communication skills. Competency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel is essential for this post. Accommodation can be provided.
