To support the delivery of improved patient care and staff well-being through the provision of patient demand forecasting and simulation modelling across the Trust’s three patient flows.
To develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and simulation models that provide management teams with the understanding required to make informed strategic and tactical decisions on patient safety and well-being.
The post holder will also link in with colleagues in workforce planning, recruitment & training and rostering to allow forecasting and modelling information to be understood and operationalised.
The role will require the use and development of statistical techniques and software for forecasting and modelling.
The post holder as lead specialist will have significant discretion to work within set defined parameters set by the Assistant Director Commissioning & Performance.
