We have a brand new office at Hospital Fields Road, Fulford, York and we are recruiting for a Scrum Master Intern to join us for a 12 month internship starting July 2023.

At ETAS, our aim is to deliver innovative software for our customers in the automotive sector, the solutions we are developing today will enable millions of cars to get closer to the dream of Autonomous Driving. Scrum Masters play a vital role at ETAS as they are the drivers of our agile project delivery strategy. This 12 month paid placement offers a fantastic opportunity to build your understanding of the agile practices in the software industry, which can differ from more traditional project delivery methods, and will allow you to kick start your exciting career in technology.

**Job Description**:
As a Scrum Master Intern, you will shadow and work directly with one of our Scrum Masters (Delivery Managers) to help drive the development of our software.
- You will have the chance to learn about software delivery management, with real world implementation of SCRUM / KANBAN and SAFe.
- You will be involved in all aspects of the delivery life cycle, from running team estimation meetings, daily “standups”, through to short term “sprint” planning and full release planning.
- You will be involved in risk assessment and project day presentations to the company leadership team.

This is a very hands on role that will see you deeply embedded within the team. We will give you real work and you will be expected to have responsibility for your own deliverables, but always with the support of your team. You will start out shadowing our current Scrum Master Intern, and once you are fully equipped with knowledge and understanding of the role, responsibility will be passed over to you.

**Qualifications**:
You might be currently studying for a management degree or similar but this is not essential. You certainly need to be organised, and obsessed with detail. Great communication is critical as you need to be able to collaborate with individuals in the team as well as have the confidence to present your ideas and the team plans to others.
