**Specific Responsibilities**
- Deliver Risk & Control frameworks including Control Technical Standards, Control Libraries, Issue Management.
- Lead, support, facilitate and provide input to existing Oversight and Risk & Control frameworks - including Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Conduct Risk Assessments (CRA), Scenario Analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
- Partner with Front Office to deliver core Financial Services Front Office Control activity - including RCSA, Risk Events, Breaches and Lessons.
- Enable the transition of the Financial Services RCSA from Op Risk to Front Office Oversight during 2023.
- Undertake analysis on areas such as Financial Services Front Office Risk Events, Complaints, and Breaches to identify and advise on appropriate remedial action across the Front Office and to ensure completion of those activities.
- Monitor Front Office Control failures and Breaches, lead Lessons Learned, creating action and remediation plans, and maintaining oversight.
- Maintain the Financial Services Control Library and governance and oversight of the Issue Management and Risk Event processes.

**Key Skills and Experience Desired**
- Experience of completing Risk Management Frameworks, such as RCSA, within a Financial Services organisation.
- Understanding of the principles of internal control and Risk & Control frameworks.
- Ability to identify and assess the adequacy of controls frameworks and make appropriate control recommendations,
- Ability to constructively challenge, where appropriate, including middle management level.
- Strong stakeholder management with effective influencing skills.

The ideal location for this role would be Liverpool however other major cities will also be considered, including London, as this is a national company with various office locations. 3 days a week in the office is expected, with 2 days working from home.
