Club Steward

**Job description**

We are looking for a steward to manage a small team in our private and friendly club near the centre of Lytham. Someone who has good customer service skills along with a pleasant demeanour,and who can work without supervision. Previous experience in bar service is necessary but supplemental training can be given. Responsibilities include:

- Managing existing staff. Recruit and train when necessary.
- Ordering stock as necessary from suppliers.
- Taking deliveries.
- Cash handling.
- Maintaining the condition of cask and keg ales.
- Promoting the club by way of promotions and events.
- Liaising with the club secretary.
- Includes weekend and evening work.

**Skills**:

- Previous bar experience necessary. The applicant should have a good record of dealing with customers.
- Applicant should of a smart appearance, and be personable and welcoming.
- Self-motivating.

As you are serving alcohol a minimum age of 18 is required.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
