Teaching Personnel are looking for a marvellous Maths Teacher to work at a friendly and welcoming secondary school in Stockwell. This role is a long-term, full-time role commencing this Spring term, continuing until the end of the academic year, with thepotential to extend. The school strive to help children to achieve their full academic potential and develop the soft talents - respect, confidence, communication skills - that will help them succeed in all aspects of their lives.

**As a Maths teacher, your role will involve**:

- Planning lessons towards KS3/KS4 Maths curriculum objectives.
- Delivering and teaching lessons with enthusiasm.
- Managing student behaviour, ensuring the classroom environment is safe and supportive of learning, and reporting to parents and other staff members when necessary.
- Sourcing the resources and supplies needed to teach lessons.
- Mark and assess the work of students.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A UK recognised QTS.
- Ideally, some experience teaching Maths to students in KS3/KS4, including GCSE.
- Be confident in using a variety of behaviour management strategies, including when presented with challenging behaviour.
- To be passionate about teaching and the impact of a high-quality education on children’s learning progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
