We have three exciting new roles available in our busy communications team which have come about due to increased demand.
The roles have varying degrees of responsibility and will support different elements of our work from the administrative support to communication planning to media relations, content creation and social media scheduling.

All the roles support projects or activities that make a real difference to the communities of Gloucestershire and you’ll be working with a dedicated communications team who are friendly and highly supportive. As Senior Communications Officer you will lead on integrated communications, in line with the annual communications plan. Working across all channels and disciplines to effectively communicate and engage with a broad range of stakeholders supporting on a campaign by campaign basis. Developing and delivering communications plans for Gloucestershire County Council as well as external clients.

**About You**

We’re looking for self-motivated creative people with plenty of get up and go. There’s never a dull moment and you’ll need great organisational skills. Working on developing engaging content and ensure it is evaluated effectively as part of campaign delivery.

Strong and extensive experience in marketing and/or communications is required. Act as a mentor for other members of the team, ensuring colleagues are supported and gain skills in all communications disciplines.

Supporting the wider team during emergencies or crisis situations, including out of hours working where necessary. You’ll also need high speed internet to be able to undertake remote/home working.
