**What will the apprentice be doing?**

Vacancy description:
The role of the Early Years practitioner (childminding assistant) is to assist with the day-to-day routines of the childminding provision.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Contributing to the planning, preparation and delivery of activities and prepared environments for play (inside and outside).
- To be confident in the use of technology (training will be given to use our online system).
- To assist with the set up and closing down routines as well as cleaning routines throughout the day to ensure a safe and happy environment indoors and outdoors.
- Preparing snacks for the children (on completion of a food hygiene course).
- Maintaining confidentiality for staff, children and their families.
- Continuing professional development (CDP training).
- Changing children's nappies / supporting children with toilet training.
- Communicating with parents and carers.
- Following and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Working as part of a small team to ensure a smooth running of the setting.

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £13,864.58-£30,384.79 per year

Schedule:
