Are you a qualified Carpenter? Yes? Well, we’ve got a great opportunity for you to join our team in Wiltshire.

But not just any carpenter Oh no - we want someone who’s more of a multi trade, someone who can create things and get the job done, with plumbing experience in your toolkit? And a dab hand at tiling & plastering, is this You?

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ve probably guessed, and you’re right, you’ll be completing carpentry responsive repair works in our customers’ homes and void properties, works including kitchen fittings, tiling, bath panels, hang doors (both internal and external), uPVC window fitting, including, overhaul and repair of UPVC doors and windows, glazing, rails and banisters and any other works associated.

You’ll be working in our customer’s homes, so you’ll have a customer service focus and being committed to continuous improvement.

No two days are the same. You’ll carry out a number of jobs in a day with your work shared with you via your handheld device, your PDA. Primarily you’ll work alone but you’ll be part of the wider responsive repairs & voids team so there’s always someone at the end of the phone to support you.

**About you**

You’ll have a carpentry qualification, NVQ or equivalent, or proven time served experience. You’ll be able to identify causes and specify materials required to rectify carpentry issues. You will also have demonstrable experience in plumbing as well as being able to tile and plaster.

You’ll need to be a confident user of IT, your work is shared via a PDA and you’ll need to control and manage, yourself, your van stock and the expectations of others.

You’ll be working with a variety of teams and communicating with them regularly, so you’ll be confident in managing expectations of both internal and external customers.

We will supply a company vehicle to get you around, so you’ll need a full, UK driving licence. You’ll need to be willing and able to take part in an out of hours rota. You’ll also be willing and able to comply with facefit regulations.
