At the Jubilee medical centre the apprentice will be dealing with patients face to face on the telephone, main duties include, booking appointments, dealing with prescription requests, scanning of documents, coding of documents, completion of admin tasks. Business Admin level 3 Apprenticeship training in the workplace will be provided by PMA Ltd.
**About the employer**
Jubilee Medical Practice is a busy friendly practice with circa 10.000 pts and part of North Liverpool Primary Care Network. Our Opening hours are Mon-Friday 7.30am - 7.00pm (8.00pm on a Monday). Full complement of clinical staff including GPs, ANPS, pharmacists, practice nurses, nurse associates and HCAs and most recently a first contact physio, in addition we have a wellbeing link worker. We have approx. 15 reception staff, 2 PT secretaries and 2 GP assistants. The practice is led by 3 GP partners and 4 managers.

Monday to Friday - The Surgery opening hours are from 7.30 am to 7pm, times for the apprentice to be discussed at interview.

**What will the apprentice be doing?**
At the practice you will receive Inhouse training which includes; shadowing existing staff, Emis Web training, yearly mandatory compliance training such as data protection, safeguarding, health and safety, CPR, as a front line receptionist you will be dealing with patients face to face, and on the telephone, this will be a mixture of front desk and back office duties.
