This is an opportunity to step into a lucrative sales role with limited experience. As a Sales Trainee you will be provided with on the job training with support from and shadowing our experienced team. You will also attend regular workshops with your fellow trainees.

Our brands bring together specialist knowledge, products and services to meet the needs of the building and construction markets. Due to ongoing growth, we are currently offering a Sales Trainee opportunity based out of our site in Dunston.

**What would my role be?**

This is a unique opportunity to step into a lucrative sales role with limited experience. As a Sales Trainee you will be provided with on the job training with support from our experienced team. The first 6 months you will be based at the Dunston Site, you will support the Sales Office and Trade Counter learning the sales process from all areas giving you a deeper understanding into both the Customer journey and the business.

After your initial training period you will be assigned a geographical territory and an account base of customers. Your customers will be Architects, Contractors, Developers and Builders. This role is underpinned by a specialist Level 4 Sales Apprentice training program along with on-the-job development to provide the skills to grow into a successful sales professional.

**What is required for the role?**
- Driving license is essential (Note, at the time of receiving your Company car you must be aged over 21 to be covered on the business car insurance)
- Confidence in speaking to new people over the phone and face-to-face
- Able to adapt your communication style to build rapport with different customers
- Possess a target driven mindset
- A business-minded person

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
