**1. Job Title**:Planner

**2. Reports to**:General Manager

**3. Job Objective (Purpose)**:
The **Planner **will develop and manage the process of translating sales demand into executable plans and schedules in operation that meet target service levels.

**4. Key Accountabilities**

Assist in the development and provision of production forecast, demand plans, end to end process plans and schedules to meet current and future trends ensuring

Promote the concept of accurate and timely forecast to the business and present benefits within Around Noon

Accurate replenishment plans with mid and max stock for finished goods, intermediates, and raw materials

Capacity scheduling on all key operating areas, weekly, monthly, and annual forecast

**Performance Measures**

Successful creation and maintenance of demand forecast establishing a master production schedule (MPS)

Lead and conduct the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process embedding a sustained management system

Incorporate safe and compliant operating standards and procedures throughout the forecasting, planning, and scheduling process

Working with site leadership team members to ensure flexible labour plan usage is accurate and variances are highlighted and actioned

Develop robust planning tools in all areas with continuous system development

Develop and maintain a series of measures that reflect business supply chain and service performance with actionable insightDesign implement, and manage sku driven demand forecast and schedules to optimise operational processes

Support site leadership team in developing capacity models and effective modelling of capacity based on demand

Successful creation and maintenance of agreed standards database with change control embedded

Create a people resource plan based on MPS forecasting demand and optimising scheduling and deployment

Use of technical knowledge ensure that systems are maintained so accurate and reduced risk of error whilst continuously improving capability and speediness of execution

Establish and design requirements for reporting and governance. Design, implement and manage metrics and governance.

**5. Personal Specification**

1. Appreciation of the role and importance of planning and worked in developing systems from concept to implementation.

2. Experience of food supply chain ideally in a Retail delivery standard

3. Good interpersonal and communication skills

4. High PC systems competency

5. Demonstrates behaviours that are focussed, results driven, analytical, and able to build relationships

6. Demonstrates hands on organisational skills and commitment to achieving

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
