**SEN Teachers required for day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply work in South Tyneside**
**About the role**:
The Education Network are looking to recruit SEN Teachers to work short-term, long-term, and day-to-day supply in a number of our partnership schools across Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside. To work with us as an SEN Teacher, thesuccessful applicant will need to understand the national curriculum, have excellent understanding of SEND and have experience working with pupils with special education needs and disabilities.

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
- Previous experience working within a Primary School as a SEN Teacher is essential.
- Experience working with pupils with ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviours.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, parents/guardians.
- Have genuine enthusiasm and care for the development of children in an educational setting.
- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities.
- Be willing to complete registration with ourselves so that you are clear to work in primary schools from a compliance perspective.
- Have a full and clear DBS check preferably on the online update system (or be willing to undertake one).
- Have professional references that cover you for the last 2 years (one of which must be education based).
