An excellent opportunity to join SLR’s finance team, supporting the UK arm of the European business. This is an exciting time to join the team as we bring different businesses together into our recently implemented finance system and work more closely together as an integrated team.**The role**

You will be joining a friendly, growing Finance team based out of SLR's Worminghall office and may be required to travel to London 2 or 3 times per month for the first few months. Although as we merge new systems, the requirement to travel is expected to reduce.
- Main duties and responsibilities include:

- Logging invoices received from Suppliers and progressing through the appropriate approval process accurately posting invoices to the accounting systems (Sage 50 and Deltek VantagePoint) ensuring correct coding
- Producing weekly creditor reports for payment runs
- Posting supplier payments to the accounting system
- Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations
- Checking and processing monthly staff expenses
- Carrying out other ad hoc accounting duties, as required

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a finance team, with hands on use of a finance system for input and reporting, as well as:

- Good Excel and finance system skills
- Flexibility to be able to deal with a variety of tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work effectively with other teams in SLR
