Yard Supervisor

Site Equip is the South’s leading supplier of portable welfare facilities, operating within event and construction industries, supplying major events such as; Glastonbury, Bournemouth 7s and Brighton Pride and long term contracts with London Fire Brigade and the Ministry of Defence.
As the Yard Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing a busy yard liaising with the office and outdoor personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient operation with high customer service and compliant health and safety.

**The Role**
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety and tidiness of the overall yard.
- Raising, scheduling and ensuring cleaning, servicing, pre-hire, vehicle defects and repair jobs are completed on a daily basis.
- Checking goods and equipment in from suppliers and customers, checking for damage, arranging repairs and raising relevant invoices.
- Ensure continuous communication with office and yard regarding hire equipment is clean and ready for hire and loaded and unloaded on to vehicles.
- Stock Control, implement, audit and monitor. Ensuring stock is replenished in a timely fashion, allocated only when needed and stock levels are maintained. Reduce stock wastage and ensure all parties have the correct equipment when required. Sourcing parts at the most cost-effective prices.
- Propose modifications or improvements to stores management/control and yard efficiencies to deliver performance and financial benefits.
- Promote safe working practices, ensuring PPE is always worn. Ensuring the depots health and safety rules are enforced.
- Undertake training with all new staff
- Liaising with customers regarding breakdown, repair jobs and queries, ensuring all customer receive a high level of service.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
