The City Rooms is a Georgian, Grade 1 listed wedding venue and banqueting hall with boutique bedrooms in the heart of Leicester city centre.

We are looking for Banqueting staff to assist during our busy events that take place in the hotel.

These include: Weddings, Christmas parties, Balls, afternoon tea, birthday parties, conferences, private dinners.

Your duties would mostly be, but not limited to:
serving and clearing food, clearing glasses, replenishing guests drinks, setting up the room ready for an event, folding napkins, polishing cutlery, washing glasses.

Banqueting staff requirements:

- Must have experence in a customer facing environment. (6 months minimum required)
- Must be able to carry 3 plates or willing to learn how
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to carry a tray of glasses

Experience is preferred but full training will be provided.

Pay will depend on experience and age

Hours are mostly evenings and weekends with some occasional day shifts depending on the business needs.

There will be opportunities to work at our sister venues: Winstanley House, black iron, black iron social.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £5.00-£11.00 per hour
